Modular 3-5 player Death Match level made for Unreal Tournament.

A trim workflow has been used to create all the props. The process of this workflow involves first baking one normal texture of modular reusable parts. This texture was provided by teachers.

Low poly meshes then get modeled as usual. For the unwrap the baked texture is used. UV clusters are then placed to match this texture. Because this texture has normal information this enables easy masking of hard edges.

The walls are made using BSP's. This makes the level easily editable which is very useful in block-out phase. Smart materials are used on the walls. Using noise maps and normal information paint is chipped off. With material instances it's easy to get a wide variety of materials by only tweaking parameters.

An animated computer screen was also made using a shader.
